Alright, let’s cut to the chase. It’s 2026, and Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred has been shaking up Sanctuary for a while now. While everyone and their grandmother was busy chasing Mythic Uniques in Nahantu’s jungles, I made it my personal mission to sniff out every single Tenet of Akarat. There are 30 of these sneaky little shrines scattered across the expansion, and unlike the old Altars of Lilith, these bad boys don’t just give you a free stat boost — oh no, you’ve actually gotta work for ’em. Each one has a tiny puzzle or combat challenge, but the rewards (renown, titles, and bragging rights) are totally worth the effort.
If you’re still missing a few or just want to knock ’em out in a single session, buckle up. I’m gonna walk you through all 30 Tenet locations, region by region, the exact same way I bagged ’em myself. No fluff, just straight-up solutions — and maybe a few “d’oh!” moments I had along the way.

🗺️ Five Hills (#1 – 5)
I started my hunt in Five Hills, and honestly, it was a mixed bag. Some Tenets were a total cakewalk, while others had me running around like a headless chicken.

-
South of Kurast (ruins): First one’s a warm-up. Clear the trash mobs near the statues, then smash the corruption blob that appears. No sweat.
-
Southwest of #1: This one’s a classic ambush. Click the statue, and a wave of enemies spawns. Dispatch ’em fast.
-
Southwest corner of Five Hills: A matching game! Light the statues on both the left and right side of the Tenet to unlock it.
-
Southeast corner: Similar drill — activate the left and right statues first, then give the rightmost statue a poke. Order matters here, or you’ll be standing there scratching your head.
-
Northwest corner: Just activate all three statues. Literally hit ’em all, and you’re golden.
🗺️ Seven Stones (#6 – 10)
This region threw a few curveballs at me, especially with some waterfall shenanigans. Keep your eyes peeled — some statues are hidden in plain sight.

-
South edge, by a waterfall: There’s a lit statue at the top of the waterfall. Your job? Find the matching unlit statue down below and light it. Pretty straightforward once you spot it.
-
Small cave west of Kurast: Speed is the name of the game. You need to light all three statues in quick succession — too slow, and they reset. I fumbled this twice.
-
Left of the path to Chakhir Stronghold: Another three-statue setup. Just light ’em all; no trick this time.
-
Northwest of Murmuring Spiral dungeon: Kill all enemies loitering around to make the statues glow again, then destroy the corruption blocking the Tenet.
-
Northernmost corner: Light the statue, then beat the everloving snot out of the enemies that spawn. Rinse and repeat until it’s done.
🗺️ Lingering Hatred (#11 – 15)
Moody name, moody area. Lots of combat-heavy Tenets here, but I breezed through most of ’em with my Spiritborn.

-
Northeast of Remnants of Rage dungeon: Simple — light the statue to the right of the Tenet. It’s almost too easy.
-
Southeast of Kurast Docks: Another statue that spawns enemies. Light it up, wipe ’em out, job done.
-
North of Kurast: Clear the area of enemies first. Once the lights return to the statues, you can interact with the corruption and destroy it.
-
Northeast of Forge of Malice dungeon: Three statues, all need to be lit in rapid succession. Channel your inner speedrunner.
-
Left of The Den icon: Activate all three statues. Just be careful of any stray mobs that might interrupt you.
🗺️ Teganze Plateau (#16 – 20)
This is where the puzzles got a tiny bit more creative — especially the mirror-image statues that had me staring at a ravine for five minutes.

-
North of Sleepless Hollow dungeon: Classic kill-’em-all. Clear the mobs, lights come back, destroy the corruption. You know the drill.
-
Cliffside between Sleepless Hollow and Farai Cliffs: A bit off the beaten path. Same deal — kill enemies to restore the statues, then purge the Tenet.
-
Outside Kichuk Stronghold: Light the statue, and Shades of Hatred will spawn. Take ’em out.
-
East of Farai Cliffs dungeon: Here’s the head-scratcher. Across the ravine, you’ll see lit statues. On your side, light the statues that mirror that pattern. Matchy-matchy.
-
Eastern edge of Teganze Plaza: You know the score — quickly activate all three statues. If you’re fast, it’s a piece of cake.
🗺️ Field of Giants (#21 – 25)
These Tenets had me climbing up and down cliffs like a mountain goat. A couple of them demand eagle-eyed pattern matching, so don’t zone out.

-
Just off the path north to Teganze Plateau: Another mirrored-statues puzzle. Look down — you’ll see lit statues. Activate the ones on your level that match their positions.
-
Southwest of Forgotten Remains dungeon: I won’t lie, this one’s a bit tucked away. Clear enemies, smash corruption, on to the next.
-
West of Tenet #21: Quick-draw all three statues in rapid succession. Hesitate, and you’ll do it twice.
-
Northeast of Ichorfall: Slay the defenders, let the lights return, destroy the corruption. Standard procedure.
-
Southwest of Ichorfall: Interact with the lion statue to summon Shades of Hatred. Kill ’em all, and the Tenet is yours.
🗺️ Restless Canopy (#26 – 30)
Final stretch! This jungle is dense, but the Tenets aren’t too nasty if you’ve been paying attention.

-
East of Viz-jun: Activate all three statues. Straightforward.
-
Northeast of Festering Dark stronghold: Another three-statue clique. Light ’em all, no order needed.
-
Northwest of Festering Dark: Pay attention here — only light the two statues that match the lit ones below you. Don’t hit the odd one out!
-
East of Kurast: You know the routine by now: kill nearby enemies, let the light return, destroy the corruption.
-
West of Ularian Sepulcher dungeon: Interact with the Tenet to spawn Shades of Hatred. Slay them, then claim your final reward.
And that’s all 30, folks! Took me a solid afternoon and a few too many trips back to town to clear out my inventory, but the feeling of that 100% completion? Chef’s kiss. Whether you’re wrapping up your Renown grind or just want those sweet cosmetic rewards, I hope this guide shaves some time off your hunt. Now, if you’ll excuse me, I’ve got some tormented bosses to bully. 😈
